HapiTap is designed for children 18 months+, with little hands in mind.

HapiTap is made from carefully selected engineering plastics, chosen specifically for the job each part needs to do.

The outer casing is made from ASA, a tough, weather-resistant material designed to cope with outdoor conditions and UV exposure.

Key internal components are made from acetal (POM) — a strong, dimensionally stable engineering plastic commonly used in plumbing components, valves and other precision applications where strength, low friction and reliable movement are important.

These aren't materials we've simply chosen because they're plastic or inexpensive — each material has been selected for the performance required from that particular component.

HapiTap has also undergone independent SGS testing for applicable children's product safety requirements, including testing confirming it is BPA free, phthalate free and lead free.

Yes — massively! Water saving and creating a child-friendly flow were important parts of HapiTap's design.

A typical outdoor tap can flow at around 18 litres per minute. HapiTap reduces this to approximately 3 litres per minute, so even when your outdoor tap is turned on, only a small, controlled flow comes through HapiTap.

That means you don't need to carefully adjust the main tap every time your child wants to play — HapiTap does the flow reduction for you.

And because water only flows while your child is pressing the paddle, it automatically stops when they let go.

So kids still get the fun of real running water, just with a much smaller flow — and a lot less water wasted.
